Senior Software Engineer (SAMI)

We are looking for Software Engineers to be assigned to work on a large, global data migration project. He/She will work closely with colleagues in US, Europe and Asia on internal tool-set migration which needs to be completed in Y2010.
Responsibilities:
- Address the project teams' concerns around SAMI migration, identify issues that need further investigation with the team, and facilitate communication to SAMI Development team to address as needed
- Collaborate with colleague in US, Europe and Asia regional, including basic project management, and ability to lead others locally
- Perform the end-to-end migration process, including investigation and clean up of data, migration of data, working with user groups to ensure their issues are addressed and they are trained and able to use any new tools.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in technical project management or Software Development or Software Testing group
- Knowledge of Source Code Control tools command line and Administrative
- Good Communication and Organization skills to be able to coordinate multiple groups migrating in parallel.
- Very good knowledge of Perl, Java, VB scripting and Apache/IIS Web Servers (SVN Hook scripts a Plus)
- Experiences in Source Code Configuration Management (versioning, branching, labeling/tagging) and SQL Server.
- Understand subversion client usage across platforms (Windows, UNIX, AX).
- Understanding of development and QA processes and how they relate to development tools
