Enterprise IMS (Information Management System) provides several products to allow valuable customers to access RMDS (Reuters Market Data System). This group of products is an API suite comprising of several key components such as RFA, SFC, and TAPI.

In the quality aspect, we need to ensure all products have been tested and their usage validated. We are required to ensure the quality with some niche skills. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for IMS-API MUST not only have testing perspective in mind, but also require to have desire in programming as we test API, not an end-user product.

This position of QA Engineer will be responsible to create automated scripts to execute test cases faster and with more accuracy. He/She will also develop test tools by using customers facing API to ensure test coverage and proper interaction with RMDS components.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop scripts to automatically execute test cases
Responsible for implementing test tools as requested by project team.
Maintain functionality of existing test tools
Work collaboratively with developers in order to verify software functionality being developed
Design state-of-art tools to reduce effort of project team
Seek for innovation and solution in order to apply for team requirement.
Report to group leader for the progress / status of responsible tools.

Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
Experience in Java or C++ programming
Ability to do self-study and seek for solution
Proficient in Unix socket programming
Experienced in any scripting language. Tcl/Tk is preference.
