Regional Brand Manager – SE Asia (Bangkok) Responsibilities: Our Client:
Our client is a large multinational FMCG company with food and beverage production facilities in Thailand, as well as a commercial office. Due to their strong demeand for their well known globally recognize products, are seeking a dynamic Regional Brand Manager to join their team.
Primary Function of the Role:
To deliver exceptional results for the brand(s) through brilliant execution of local plans, and act as day to day brand guardian in the respective country.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and agree the annual volume and investment plan for the brands managed. On an ongoing basis, monitor and review this plan to ensure performance vs. objectives and efficient use of resources to achieve the established goals
- Choosing from the Area menu for global and regional brands, undertake brand analysis as part of the annual planning cycle, uncover consumer insights, identify business/brand issues and opportunities for brands assigned
- Work closely with Market managers within SEA to implement marketing strategies, communication and consumer promotion programs, as agreed via the business planning process, that will assist in the achievement of sales objectives.
- Work with the Marketing Services, media agency locally and the Area Media support to run the media planning process, ensuring the most efficient use of investment through a variety of communication channels
- Prepare and execute Innovation launch plans in market, as approved by the Area. For “lift and launch” activity, input to LAM and PIR documentation.
- Work closely with trade marketing, Catman and sales in local market to ensure effective execution of actions at point of sale
- Continuously monitor brand performance and competitor activity, proactively reacting to changes and threats; be able to provide estimations and forecasting about volume and share
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level / business school graduate, or equivalent, with Marketing major preferred and demonstrable 3-4 years classic blue chip FMCG marketing experience.
- The job holder must be bilingual and able to communicate effectively in both Thai and English, orally and in writing.
- Strong influencing skills are required to drive internal alignment, e.g. with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain
- A passion for brands, and a strong execution and results focus are essential, in addition to project management skills and the ability to prioritise.
