To direct and drive this change, the Board of Telikom PNG Limited seeks to engage an experienced and technically competent Head of Information, to develop and implement operational strategies that ensure the smooth functioning of the company’s IT systems, communications, operational and business information systems.
 
This is a role that combines technical knowledge, an overall understanding of the divisions and services provided by a national telecommunications provider and strong business acumen.

Requirements:

  • Masters Business Administration
  • Degree Information Technology, Engineering or Computer Science
  • Demonstrated on-going professional upskilling
  • Senior level experience in the telecommunications sector
  • Familiarity of the regulations governing a national carrier
  • Senior level technical experience in telecommunications
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Leadership ability with demonstrated skills in mentoring and coaching teams to Excellence
  • Motivational, negotiation and inter-personal skills
  • Drive, energy and the ability to make a difference
  • Advanced computer competency MS Office and relevant software
  • Proven ability in people management skills
  • Demonstrated success at work and in the community
  • Stable personal life leading to success in the workplace
  • Preparation & presentation of technical & management reports
  • Financial management & budget acquittal
  • Divisional personnel management & day-to-day administrative functions
  • Working experience within a multicultural environment well regarded
