The Sales Support Representative (SSR) will be responsible for handling calls of Lexmark resellers in an effort to provide answers and recommendations on a variety of topics that will ultimately assist the sales effort. This will include, but will not be limited to:
-making product recommendations based on customer requirements
-providing pricing support through a detailed knowledge of Lexmark products, pricing and promotions,
-facilitating the resolution of technical support issues
-providing pricing/bid support.
Additionally the SSR will be expected to understand Lexmark order, pricing and supply chain processes so as to provide insight and information to resellers when needed. Through performing these functions, the SSR should establish his or herself as a valued asset that Lexmark resellers can contact to receive education on Lexmark products, programs, pricing and value proposition. The SSR will also be required to engage appropriate teams and tools necessary to support resellers and perform the job function. Regular reviews and communication with management and sales teams will be expected in order to understand areas of success and concern as Lexmark constantly seeks to improve the level of service offered to its resellers and partners. Activity management and tracking will also be required.
Fluent English speaking skills / strong communication skills
Strong English writing skills
BA/BS degree required (Business /Marketing preferred)
- Initiative to solve problems and complete tasks quickly
- Ability to communicate in a convincing manner
- Technical hardware background preferred
- Ability to assemble data from multiple sources to solve problems
- Ability to adapt and learn new concepts quickly
- Understanding of the sales process
- Proficiency with spreadsheet and database applications preferred
- Determination and drive to assist in sales efforts however possible
- BA/BS degree required (Business /Marketing preferred)
- Has at least 2 years work experience
