Our client is the global leader in SMS messaging solutions with 300 network operators and service providers reaching over 1.5 billion subscribers. Their recognised innovation and expertise extends across a portfolio of propositions, products and services. It is based upon a global track record, unique business insight and leading edge technology platforms. Due to string growth in the Asia Pacific region they are seeking a dynamic Pre Sales Consultant to grow their presence in Thailand.

The Role:

  • The candidate will be responsible for technical pre-sales and consultancy to identify sales opportunities, drive our product propositions and engaging our existing and potential clients to support our Regional Country Managers, Sales Managers and Account Managers to secure sales and order.
  • Provide both industry insights and thought leadership to our clients with objective to create and develop new opportunities for which we can position our products portfolio.
  • The candidate must have strong strategic thinking skills and able to articulate value propositions of our products to our clients.
  • Candidate must be able to combine sound technical expertise with business and /or commercial acumen.
  • Strong written skill as the candidate will be expected to develop technical proposals, responses to RFI, RFQ and Tenders.
  • The candidate is expected to develop in-depth technical expertise of our product portfolio which include messaging (SMS, MMS, Voice Mail, Video Mail etc), mobile internet, payments (both pre-paid and postpaid), customer intelligence and integrated advertising solutions for the mobile, convergence and cable/broadband operators and media companies.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably in a multi-national organization in a regional role.
  • Has minimum 3-5 years experience in development, delivery or support of IT or telecommunications projects preferably in Value Added Services (VAS) like SMSC, MMSC, Voice Mail or mission critical platforms in the field of IT or telecommunications.
  • Strong presentation and communications skills as the role required selling and engagements at all levels of our clients organizations including at the Board Level.
  • Ambitious, self driven and highly motivated individual who can works well in a team with deep ambition and desire to excel and develop a career in technical sales or business development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or IT related fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of work experience.
  • Good written and spoken English
