In Thailand, we acquired the British group Hanson’s concrete and quarrying operations as a wholly owned subsidiary of Boral Limited since August 2004, with approximately 50 mixed concrete plants, 2 quarries, 1 sandpit, 600 trucks and almost 1,300 employees. AREA SALES MANAGER
(Bangkok)

Responsibilities:

 
Sales & Marketing Department, Concrete Business

The successful candidate will be reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager and has to supervise sales team in the responsible area. The purpose of this position is to gain sales from new and existing customers including develop relationships, monitor projects and provide sales forecasts. 

Key Responsbilities include : 
  • Approaching new potential prospects for further develop to be our customers

  • Gaining and increasing sales revenue to meet company sales target

  • Maintaining the good relationships with all existing customers

  • Providing excellence service with pro-active solutions for all key customers

  • Developing sales strategies for being competitive to the market

  • Managing sales team for further improvement
  •  

Requirements:

  • A Degree from recognized university, Civil Engineering will be advantage

  • At least 5 years selling experience in construction business

  • Possess good attitude and pleasant personality

  • Strong customer service orientation, sales orientation and problem solving

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Possess strong leadership, negotiation and people management skills

  • Good command of Thai and English
