Engineering Manager Consumer Healthcare (Ref. No. 7006)
(Bangkok) Responsibilities: A market leader with global brands of condoms and hygienic shoes, with manufacturing sites in Thailand, Spain, UK, India, and China, wishes to employ an Engineering Manager for condom products. The Thailand manufacturing site employs more than 500 people.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Engineering Manager will:
- Manage all plant engineering work in relation to major engineering Projects and site improvements
- Run all kinds of projects on site
- Propose improvements in the manufacturing process that provide better productivity
- Look after site utilities and general services
- Ensure all engineering activities in conformance with SHE standard requirements
- Communicate within the team and across functions to ensure that everyone understands the work requirements
Requirements:
- Thai national, age over 35 years
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in running projects\
- Background in food, pharmaceuticals or cosmetics would be a plus
- Knowledge of SHE standard requirements and audit
- Keen on implementing ERP (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office
- Proactive and self-motivated, with strong organizational, communications and team management skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English
